what is best to manure then cover for the winter

or just manure site

    Grow a green manure something like Phacelia and then just dig it all in in Spring before it has time to flower. It should overwinter if it is not too cold.

  • hi tojann 1   look in kings cat/ they have about 15 types of cover manure I think field beans are a good crop[ for over winter but don't let them get to large cut down and leave to rot the roots are the good part to chop up   good for the ground    (but look at them and make up you mind slowly there is a few easy crops )   also marshalls hove a good few on show in there book         hope it helps     michael
