That area shouldn't have needed more than 1, 2 tops, watering cans of weedkiller. If you pull or dig the weeds out within a months of treatment, it's possible there will be regrowth from anything missed.
Ideally it should be left a bit longer but if you have to do it now be thorough in removing everything you can.
I have a cheapo plastic red one for weedkiller and a classic metal one in green that i leave out on purpose when guests are about...... I know I know.....I know.
I've got one of those rather gorgeous galvanised ones with a brass rose ........... and a rather battered green plastic one - if only I had somewhere to hide the green one when Forkers visit - at least I always make sure it's behind the camera

This is Merlin, my pet Merlin. I would love one, I think the name Merlin really suits them, like little wizards! He scares the sh** out of birdlife, but only for about a week then they all get used to him and ignore him.... bit like an irritating younger brother. I was watching a couple of wood pigeons this evening who settled on the shed ridge as is their habit. Then one saw Merlin and panicked scrabbling about as he took off, a bit like they do in the cartoons!
I decided on a compromise - I seeded half and will see how it goes, then in the spring I can have another crack on the remaining bit. I have a piece of old DPM that I can use with a couple of pallets on to prevent growth over winter...
The shed in the background im just finishing, I built from scratch - whadya recon ?
Very nice shed. Obviously much better with wood than with weedkiller! Next time, invest in a weedkiller bar for the watering can. It gives a much finer spray over a greater area.

Really? Its about 8m across and 9m deep.. My watering can seems to empty in less than a second!
With a fine sprinkler rose on it?
Tip: don't use the watering can for watering plants - label it 'for weedkiller only' - otherwise there will be
