Evergreen 4 in 1

Hi

I plan to use evergreen's 4 in 1 feed and weed in my mother's lawn this weekend. The product info says water if there is no rain within 2 days of application. Can I water at the same time as isn't any rain forecast for the following 2 days and I can't get back there until the following weekend?

    yes that should be fine, just give it a good soak

    4 in 1 is a Spring treatment - I wouldn't use it at this time of year - you don't want to be encouraging lush growth with winter on the way.

    If you want to treat the lawn now I would use Evergreen 2 in 1 Autumn Lawn treatment.

    Thanks for the replies. I will go with the 2 in 1 Autumn Lawn treatment. The same problem still arises though, can I water it at the same time?

    Can you follow up on why it's a bad idea to encourage lush growth with winter on the way?

    Lush growth in the winter (wet and cool) creates the perfect conditions for fungal/bacterial infections - it's also more likely to get damaged by frost.
