I planted out some canterbury bells in spring sown from seed last autumn, They are strong looking plants but to date have not flowered which is unusual as I have grown them for years in the past. . Any suggestions, will they come up next year.
did have very cold wet spring but they survived all that.

i grew on some that i bought as plug plants last year and they didn't flower until this year
Mine are the same, I planted out large plants this spring and no flowers at all. I've only got 2 left to flower for next year, once I realised they weren't going to flower I dumped most of them

are you sure they are canterbury bells aym280? i have them all over the garden and definitely no prickly bits on them anywhere
