Pumpkins

Have grown pumpkins for the first time this year, promised grandkids I would have a go, got a Big Max in the greenhouse its orange about the size of a small football, but the skin is wrinkly, not sure why or what I would do?  The other one Sancte Martin, in the veg plot dark green looks fine.

Sorry, Nanny Beach - I'm afraid I'm not a Cucurbitaceae expert - this year's productivity in my garden amounts to 1x spaghetti squash (first time I've ever grown one and probably the easiest cucurbit I've ever dealt with, but the fruits are prone to rotting just as they start to swell, so next year I'll have to arrange a drier growing area for them) and 1x courgette.

Yes, 1 individual courgette! It went into a lasagne - it seemed the best way to share it out!image

Just thought a bump up back to page 1 of the forum might bring your thread to the attention of someone who can help. You never know, I might learn something as well!image
