potted coleus

My coleus is on the patio table and is starting to produce flowers.  Now the nights are cooler should I move it indoors? I would prefer my unheated porch (faces north-north-west) or it would have to be east facing patio window?  Thanks for advice, Mags

Hi Mags. Yes, it is better to bring it indoors. They need to be kept at a temperature no lower than 15C. Full sunlight is essential. If you want to keep the nice leaf colour then you should cut off the flowers.

  • Temp as  low as that!  Inside patio door then. And I had better move it NOW.  Thanks a lot, Mags
