Does my Jacob's Ladder (polemonium)

Hi.  I have a Jacob's Ladder that has been doing pretty well this year since being planted in April but now the leaves are starting to turn brown.  As it's my first year as having a go in the garden, I'm thinking it's naturally dying back due to the time of year?  Should I now cut it back at all?  Many thanks in advance.  :)

  • Hi Verdun!  Thanks so much for getting back to me; I shall indeed leave it to its own natural devices (although it seems sad to watch it turn but I look forward to seeing it again next year, like an old friend!).  Lots of thanks.  image
