Box Hedge Clippings
I have created a small square box hedge area, edged on two sides by a path. When I have clipped the hedging I sweep them up from the path then try and pick the clippings that have fallen on the planted area but it's so difficult. Would it be detremental to the garden if I left the clippings to decompose naturally?

I'm sure some will worry about disease and slugs but it sounds a sensible arrangement to me. I do that sort of thing all the time with no problems

That's a relief Nutcutlet. Thanks.
I have planted a Buxus partierre with the infill being gravel, when I'm going to clip the hedge I put a old sheet onto the gravel where the clippings will drop. I carefully pick the sheet up with the clippings and shake it into a waste bag, it saves all the mess on the gravel.
