Overgrown Mystery Plant
I have a particularly overgrown plant that I'm not sure how to prune. Can you give me any advice?

Looks like some sort of hydrangea to me. You usually prune them in spring when you can see where the new shoots are. You could cut off the dead flower heads if you don't like them but many people keep them for winter interest. If it's too bug, you could cut some of the older stems right back or to where you can see new shoots growing but you may not have so many flowers next year.
