Artificial grass HELP!!!

I have recently had my arfiicial grass fitted by a landscape gardener. On finishing i have noticed it is rather bumpy. Our fitter told us this will go down once it's bedded in. We can't find anything on the internet that confirms this and no other friends have experienced this. Can anyone offer any advice?

It should be lying on a flat surface and fitted smooth because it isn't supposed to grow or shrink.

Don't pay the final bill till it has had time to "settle" and make sure they come back and fix it before you do.

May I ask why artificial grass?

My friend - much to my horror - has artificial grass but it was laid down very professionally and is perfectly flat. The comment about "settling" I think is a load of tosh. Proper preparation is the key/

agree with above comments, any further 'settling' is likely to make things worse, not better
