This plant keeps popping up everywhere, can't find what it is was wondering if anyone knew what it was?

It looks like the leaves of a viola, probably the native Common Dog Violet, Viola riviniana, or the Sweet Violet, Viola odorata or one of their cousins.
The clumps of leaves get much bigger over the summer then disappear for the winter.

Looks about right the leaves are really similar!
Would anyone also happen to know if this is a similar species? Cant make my mind up if they are the same.

They look like it - check the little seed capsules - hard and roundish, but when ripe they open like a three pointed star and catapult the seeds out.
