Plant growing in my garden
I have a plant/flower growing in my garden and I don't know what it is, it has tiny little yellow flowers and brown and green leaves. sits very low on the ground but spreads alot. I think it's some type of alpine/rockery plant. I want to know what it is as I need to find slone thing to get rid of it as it looked very messy and like weeds. Please help

Sounds like it could be a type of oxalis called 'creeping woodsorrel ' (Oxalis corniculata):

Difficult to eradicate, unfortunately. Some advice from the RHS here:

I was also thinking of oxalis - scroll down Bob's link and you'll see the purple variety. I just pull them out now & then and try to keep on top of them, but it's not easy (if you can't be bothered to dig them up properly
). At least being brownish they don't show up too much.
If it isn't this plant, if you could describe the flower and leaf shape it might be easier to identify.
I have this, it's easy enough to pull up whenever I see it. It's actually rather delicate and pretty so I don't mind it too much, I just don't want it to take over!
Which it will, given half a chance! Was horrified to see one of our local plant sellers offering this as a basket plant. Now, it may well do good there, but you will be stuck with it for ever … let's be honest, it is a weed. However, if you like a weed then it no longer is one, you just need to control it. Good luck with that.
I've got the dark leafed purple flowered violet - can't recall name - which arrived in a pot of something else, and is now one of the major weeds in our garden - ta lots!!
