Is this Japenese knotweed?

Hi
This plant is growing in some abundance in a neighbours garden and it looks alarmingly like Japanese knotweed. Is someone able to confirm if this is the case.

Don't know what it is but it doesn't look like JKW

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Seems to be cropping up quite frequently.

They look quite unobtrusive all summer, then if we get a prolonged warm spell they put on a surge of growth then flower and fruit and put the fear of god into the unwary
