MYSTERY PLANT GROWING

This suddenly started growing in my garden a month ago. I accidentally trod on it but it still carried on growing. It is about 10 feet from a Paulownia (don't know if I have spelt it right!!). Because the leaves are so large I thought perhaps it was an off shoot of this but the leaves are much larger. It has grown to about 4ft+. Is it a friend or foe please?

Young paulownia plants will have a youthful vigour and yes, that's what it is. Lucky you. Lift it and pot it up, in the spring.

They do sucker, if you are lucky.. Wish mine would.
