    I can't really see it John. Could you do a photo of it showing the leaves, just as it stands, no hands please

    Here it is nutCutlet. 

    I bought it a few years ago- yellow flowers rarely- struggling to thrive-

    the leaves look like Kerria japonica but the flower stalk in the first pic looks a bit long

  • Thanks- I looked up that name yiu suggested- think you are correct- it needs shade- I have it in full sun- mistake so I'll move it. Thanks very much

    If it is a kerria japonica, it needs to be in the ground where it can grow tall and spread like a weed.

  • I had it in the ground and it was struggling. I then moved it to a pot to see if it made a differencE but no improvement. It is in a south facing garden - will I move it to a shady spot and in the ground? What can I feed it to boost it?
