My one is only about 3ft high at the moment but it does flower. Have taken some cuttings and two of them are showing new growth. The man who gave me the plant said that the seeds do sometimes have white flowers but cuttings will be blue. Fingers crossed these are because I especially like blue flowers.
Still chutneying - it's my very flexible 'Harvest' recipe, depending on what I've got - this one is pattypan squashes, onions, plums and apples with chilli and tamarind.
Just watching GW again while it's reducing, but I see you've all found it now - isn't it pretty
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
It has been growing outside in the garden now for 2 years. Had lots of blue bells this year. Doesn't seem to mind cold, wet winters we have had. The one I first saw in Norfolk was probably full height and growing very well in fen soil. My soil here in Oxfordshire is heavy clay but even so, is doing all right.

If you take cuttings the plants will be the same, they are bits of the same plant. Changes can occur with seed raised plants

When I had the blue one by the front wall, I did get a lot of people look at it trying to decide what it was.
The white one is more hidden and only me gets to appreciate it.
