    I thought the contrast between the 2 gardeners with the 'tropical' gardeners was interesting too.  The one in Torquay just used the common names for most of his plants, whereas the London one used botanical names far more.  I suppose you could call the first guy a plant fan and the other a plantsman. image

    Neither is wrong, just two totally different attitudes.

    I thought it was a lot better,maybe I was just getting used to it.I liked the bit about the plums.I'm more interested in the fruit and veg.image

  • Love the hour even with the fillers. Great to have on in the background when I am meant to be working. Even the bits with the dogs playing and bees visiting the flowers.

    Would love to see more trials like Beechgrove. Which composts  can we trust if we do not have the space to make it all ourselves? Which organic  pest control methods actually work?

    +how does Monty get his roses to look like that. Mine are ragged from aphids, caterpillars and bees with speckles of black spot from the last week or so of humid weather.
