Tomato ailment

Hi all, new member here. Just wondered if anyone had seen this problem with tomatoes and what causes it?  I don't believe it is animal damage...any advice appreciated!

Both of above. There is also a moth caterpillar that likes tomatoes. They tend to hide under leaves, well disguised.
