How to protect seeds sown now

Hello again, all! I have a 3g pack of seeds that I got from the Bumblebee Conservation group (namely Wild Red Clover, Cornflower, Field Poppy, Viper's Bugloss and Wild Marjoram) and, inspired by an article I saw in a recent gardening magazine, I'd like to sow them in a couple of pots (as we have no borders in our garden, sadly). If I sow them now, how would I protect them from the winter? We have no greenhouse but we do have a small building at the bottom of the garden that gets chilly (but not frosty) in the winter, so would it be ok to keep them in there until the last frost next year? Sorry for a silly question but this is my first year's attempt at gardening and I'm anxious to get it right! Many thanks in advance for your advice.

You don't need to protect them from the winter. They're hardy plants.
I hope they're large pots, Vipers Bugloss is very leafy at the base and tales up a lot of space.

Thanks nutcutlet, you have answered my question and more. I shall perhaps take out the bugloss as although the pot is sizable, it may be unsuitable for a couple of the seeds I'd like to sow. Thank you.
