And before you ask because I know some one will no I cannot identify all 166 yet but I will by next season remember I have only been here 6 weeks just thought you might like to know.
Oh and I am looking to get a few more for a new bed I am creating Lester

Not sad at all! If I was rich enough and had a big enough garden I would love you to be my head gardener ? I love roses and have brought too many this year! Tomorrow I will have a count up! I have all the labels but only have slight idea which ones which! I do have an absolute favourite though and will find you the name as think you will love it too ?

I have 7 roses, I planted 4 of them
the rose you showed sure is a beauty but I need bigger growers I'm looking at a repeat flower rambler called Malvern hills climbs to 20 feet and is pale yellow good in poor soil.
I also want to buy around 3 or 4 standard roses for my new bed which will be located with my perennials
watch this space as they say
No roses in my garden at present. There will be one going in over winter, called Shot Silk. It's only available bare rooted and was the one my mum had in her wedding bouquet back in 1946. She had one in her garden for many years but it didn't survive the move to my place when she died.

You can get Malvern Hills rambling rose from David Austin roses.
This one is a gorgeous climber, summer wine and smells beautiful
