Another thing to blame on Gardeners

A brief explanation. I subscribe to Lancaster University's Aurora Watch. I received the following 2 e-mails recently: Number 1
Dear AuroraWatch UK subscriber,
Red alert: aurora likely.
It is likely that aurora will be visible by eye and camera from anywhere
in the UK. Viewing aurora requires clear, dark skies away from light
pollution.
Number 2
Dear AuroraWatch UK subscriber,
We apologise for the earlier false alert (issued 13:25 UTC today) which
was caused by a lawnmower creating a local disturbance at our Lancaster
site.

Ha ha ha. Presumably you also need to be away from lawnmowers. LoL
I still haven't got my head around exactly HOW the lawnmower caused the disturbance
Ran into a satellite dish; gardener unplugged sensor equipment to plug in mower; mower cut important cables?????? Hilarious!
Brilliant L'bird. Maybe they already had too many appliances plugged into it and blew the fuse
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Or maybe The Lawnmower Strikes Back!
I also subscribe, and ironically there was an aurora visible that night, although I have yet to see one.

This site gives the present state of auroral activity:

Blame it on the spark-plug

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
My lawnmower has a suppressor! I was looking at it this very morning.
Wasn't me
Its trying to find dark sky thats well nigh impossible for me where I am. Looking forward to going to Kielder later on this year.
Shouldn't have given it all that beer then Verd....
