What is this weed?

Can anyone help me please? This rather attractive ground cover weed has spread into my garden from next door.  I wouldn't mind it except it is now engulfing my beds and pots, suffocating my plants.  I've tried digging it up but it just keeps coming back, year after year, spreading further.  How can I get rid of it?
