Any idea what plant this is?

imageCan anyone help me identify this plant?  I've had it in my garden since I moved in, nearly four years ago.  It's slow to grow in the summer, eventually flowering in August/September.  It's probably about 70cm tall and dies back in the winter.  Seems to cope ok in the shade.

Many thanks

Looks like one of the phygelius to me - native to south Africa so slow to get going in a British spring but worth the wait.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
