    How beauiful. I hope they put it back where they found it so that it can turn into a great moth,

    The put it in there flower bed. It could have come from anywere as the can brought it to them.

    I agree, elephant hawk moth catipillar.

    Based in Sussex, I garden to encourage as many birds to my garden as possible.
