More plants to ID please.The first is a Dahlia but can anyone put a specific name to this lovely flower.The last picture is a plant that we have had in our garden for 37 years, never fails to flower - we call it a ginger plant but does it have another name?

Just see this thread - the salvia doesn't look like caradonna to me, not purple enough (too blue / indigo).
Maybe salvia Victoria Blue?
