Plums

Last year I asked for advice with regard to little pink wrigglers in plums.  The advice given was perfect and greatly reduced what plums remained after disease took the majority of them.  The remaining plums were bigger and sweeter than ever but can you give me some advice please for getting rid of the ones that are diseased.
