Just watched a recording of the Carpenters from yesterday on ITV 1,i don't watch a lot on that channel.But they did it very well.It was called,20 favourite songs of the Carpenters.It was nice to see Richard again.

Richard was a bully,Karen never wanted to front the group she wanted to stay behind the drums but he bullied her into it.

I've got all the songs,2 DVDs,recordings from the tv.
I had all the LPs. When the CDs first came out,my hubby decided to buy a CD player, the only thing we didn't have room for the CD player and the turn table.so I couldn't play the Carpenters for a long time,i was devastated until readers digest brought out a collection.:)
Yes some of it I'd seen before,but it was the bit with Richard I was interested in.I've got all the rest,but still liked to see it.I watched one on channel 5 a few months ago, that was different.
