Killing Buddleja

Hi there!
I need to permanently remove buddleja high up on the brick work of a house, problem how do I avoid killing all the shrubs and plants below?
Any suggestions?

Would it help to post a photo?
You need to get a ladder up there, get it out and repair the damage to the building. Spraying (which I guess is what you're talking about) will leave a dead or half dead shrub sticking out of the brickwork.
