Forcing Hyacinth
I have bought some prepared hyacinth bulbs to grow indoors in water. I know when I grew some in compost last year I had to put them in sand/compost in the dark for 8-10 weeks before bringing them indoors. What do I do about growing them in water? I want them to flower for Christmas.

Yes, they need the same period in the cool and dark.
