Help with Weed Identification

Hello,
I just recently got rid of a bunch of Nutgrass in my lawn and now we have another infestation. Can any of you tell me what weed this is? The stalk is extremely tough and strong.

Nutgrass = Nutsegde
I live in CA, but the Nutsedge is taken care of. I don't know what this new one is.
