They would need feeding after flowering so that the leaves can send food back down to the bulbs again but as B3 is not bothered about saving for next year it will be fine.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm planning to plant spring bulbs when I remove the current plants from my pots. Not having to renew the compost will certainly save a few quid. I don't plan to save the bulbs either.

You don't need to add nutrients if they are new bulbs as they will have all their food stored inside them so bung 'em in.
