Nigella produces beautiful seed pods and will happily self seed so you shouldn't have to plant any next year.

  • hello, I would like to be able to identify a rather large shrub/tree which is in my son's garden. They have only just moved in but this plant looks like its been there for a long time. It is around 15 feet tall and the leaves are large, thick and shiny like a Laurel. It has white cup-shaped flowers but doesnt seem to be fragranced. Could this plant be a Camellia? Didnt know if these could grow as trees rather than bushes? Thanks for any help.
