OH always wants an Xmas cake but all that feeding is a pain so now I make Delia's Creole cake about a week before and then he forgets about it so often as not in the past it's been eaten on skiing holidays or at Easter - great snack on garden blitz days. This year it was eaten last month after all that cold weather gardening.
I don't get appliqué. Patchwork teacher insisting it's a skill I need. Need to find an alternative.
