Arum Lilly (Zantodeschai arthropoda) rot.

All four of the above plants are rotting at the core (pulp like) during summer this was a solid mass.  However two of the plants do have small white/cream solid fresh shoots on them.   in wooden lath tub, plastic lined with drainage holes in. Planted at same depth as bought.  Any suggestions please?????

Pleased to know they shoot from an apparently mushy state?.  They are new to me this year, came in 2lt pots with 2-3 flowerheads & i planted ( this summer) in JIno.2.  Wanted them for the pond put given conflicting guidance so planted in a trough.  May leave a few years, if come through winter, before adding to pond.  Verdun , would you suggest winter in a greenhouse or out doors ( live in the north west / England).  Ma my thanks Huddy
