I have the following rowing at the bottom which grows at the speed of light. I cut it all back a couple of months ago because of the size of it and it's back with a vengeance. Any ideas?
Looks to me like Salix caprea aka Goat Willow. Fine if you have a large wildlife garden but not what you really want in a 'normal sized' garden. I'd treat it with brushwood killer.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
