What is this plant
Hi, does anyone know what this plant is? It self-seeded in a pot, and the leaves were an interesting shape, so I let it grow to see what developed. It's now got pretty purpley-blue flowers. Is it annual or perennial? It's about 18in high.

Hi
It looks like Jacob's Ladder - Polemonium caeruleum. It's a perennial and by all accounts self seeds if it's happy.
I agree.
When you don't even know who's in the team

So do I. Watch it, though, it self seeds so prolifically that it could soon be the only plant in the border!
Many thanks for your help. I have a bit of space that needs filling, so I'll plant it out and hope it seeds, though I'll keep an eye on it as well!
I love it. Posy's right about it self seeding, but the seedlings are easy to spot when tiny and remove, or give away.
