Biodynamic Gardening ?

Hi  - has anyone tried biodynamic gardening  / planting by the moon methods? 

I have seen that there is a 2 day biodynamic gardening conference taking place at Garden Organic 17 - 18th Sept.
Looks like some interesting workshops on stuff wider than Biodynamics like Meadow Gardening, No dig, open pollinated seeds and natural bee - keeping

I did try harvesting my potoes and onions on a " favorable ROOT day and they seemed to last for ever and not go rotten over winter.
