I cannot see any Japanese roses which are also called Rosa rugosa in your garden. Kerria japonica is a different plant and not a Japanese rose. Where your Buddleja is situated is no problem at all to your house. Glad you got that one sorted ejm64. I agree with Invicta2 about the 'spikes'. Arum for sure.
