I take off any damaged or very yellowed ones just now and then usually leave them. As they deteriorate, I remove them so that the plants are nice and 'clean' over winter.
If there are any fruits on the plants still to ripen, I also take off any big ones which are blocking sunlight.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
