James Grieves Apple Tree

Can anybody tell me why some of my James Grieves apple tree leaves are going brown.  The apples are going well.

This is the 1st season we have had apples.

Planted early last year.

Thanks Helen

Depending where you are in the UK, we are approaching Autumn when the leaves will naturally brown and drop off so it may just be that.

COULD YOU PUT A PHOTO ON HERE? IT WOULD HELP A LOT IN NARROWING DOWN POSSIBLE REASONS.

thank you for your reply.  I live in North Yorkshire.  This is my first fruit tree.
