Azalea leaves turning red?
Hi,
I've just planted two azalea plants but the leaves are turning red - how can I save them?
They were lovely and green when I bought them and I have planted them in a shady spot. I have a south facing garden but they are up against the fence at the end of the garden, so north/west facing. What have I done wrong -i bought special eracious soil for the spot.
Many thanks.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Thanks for that. I went to homebase today armed with a photo and they didn't know - suggested that I check the ph of the soil and then adapt it if required.
I'm at a loss and don't want to lose these plants. I'm not able to upload a photo here for some reason.
Thanks again dovefromabove
Most of my evergreen azaleas start to have some red leaves as autumn approaches.
