Bush Raspberries

Last year I bought one of those bush raspberries to grow in a pot. It didn't come with any cultivation instructions. I've picked all the berries.

What do I do now? Should I now cut it back and, if so, how hard? Should I feed it now or wait till spring?

It has some new shoots growing from the base and one at the edge of the pot. (Could this one be a sucker?)

    Hi marigold,

You cut off the fruited canes so the new shoots from the bottom can grow for next year to fruit.image

Thanks for that Logan. So you would treat a bush the same as canes? Do I feed too?

The fruited canes go brown and and the leaves yellow. Cut that cane down as low as you can. The new green canes will fruit next year. Your "sucker "is a new cane that will provide fruit next year.
