Courgettes with powdery mildew

Over the last 2 years my courgette plants started out very healthy looking but eventually succumbed to powdery mildew even though this year I grew a variety which was supposed to be tolerant to this disease. Years ago I can remember courgettes grew easily without any problems. Any advice would be appreciated. Is there a variety which is resistant?
