PLANT IS THE D(R)YING

imageHi,

A friend has gave me this pot of grass and I was told it will be easy to take care. Unfortunately this plant barely survive for the past two weeks and it is almost dying.

I didn't even manage to get the name of this plant and my friend didn't know either. Therefore I could not find any info from the internet.

I hope anyone here can help identify what kind of plant is this and the method of taking good care of it.

Appreciate very much for the input. Thank you.

Is it possible for you to post a picture to help in identifying the grass? Meanwhile, have you kept it watered?

Aaaah picture arrived. That is not a Grass, it looks like a succulent of some description.

It may be a Sedum. Is it in a pot?

Yes, I have reposted the image into the above message. I was told not to water too much. Maybe once a week.

Well as I said above, it is definitely NOT a grass and it should be in a pot with some decent gritty compost.

This is a whole plant picture. Above was a close up photo.

Yes it is in a pot. I will try to look on the internet for the name Sedum.

Oh dear that does look sad. If you take some of the decent shoots off the main plant and put them in a little pot with some decent compost they should root easily - like this:
