No Frank, you're normal If you seriously don't know about Pokemon. Here, in best Ladybird English for all of us of a 'certain age' tee hee, is an explanation:
Pokémon Go is a free-to-play, location-based augmented reality game developed by Niantic for iOS and Android devices. It was initially released in selected countries in July 2016.
So now we all know!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Ladybird4 thank you for the diagnosis that normality exists around me, having emerged from 16 days in the care of the NHS (I bless them all wonderful people) there was a doubt they may have transplanted my ancient though still active brain into one of those teenagers with abysmal knowledge of "henglish has she is spoke". We of the three R's learning back in the mists of time do have an advantage.
I read your explanation and am still somewhat mystified, released? do I take it then it, he, she, what ever was in prison? I await more information on this strange event with baited breathe.
Don't worry Frank/Dad - I haven't a clue what it's all about either. Also - I really don't care...
I was going to say, at least it keeps the daft fools 'off the streets' but of course, it does the opposite!
I suppose if it drags them out their bedrooms into the fresh air, it has to be a good thing, but if one runs across the road in front of me, they'd better not use it as an excuse for their stupidity...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I couldn't understand why there were so many kids under the canal bridge. It is apparently a pokemon gym, where you can "fight" the characters. I'm expecting someone to try walking across the water

Fairygirl/ Daughter, there was me thinking the mystery shadows on the ward wall were the results of the nine o clock cocoa, it certainly put you to sleep in time, only to be woken at odd hours to take samples or so they said, I think Ange fancied me?
Lantana, the tea bag incident threw me, what got into my brain, could it have been the porridge I ask, certainly not the rice pudding like mother made, Natale even made sure I got the skin in my bowl.
As to Pokemon, I will ask my Grandson, he will probably baffle me with science.
I also read very disturbing headlines about a Russian woman who claimed to have been 'raped' by a Pokemon character! Really!!!!! I'm joining you Frank! At least with Loom Bands - the last fanatical craze to sweep the World - there was something colourful to wear at the end. Hope you are now recovering well Frank.

Ladybird4, like a rubber ball I bounce and with four Daughters fussing around and Fairygirl up in Scotland I get well and truly nagged. Just sort of getting the gist of Pokemon and you throw in Loom Bands??? I weaved wire on a loom as a young apprentice it was for baskets what do you weave on a loom band?

Stupid question but then I am getting on a bit, "What is Pokemon"?
Second stupid question but as above, "Why did I drop a tea bag in my cup as well as coffee"?
Third question "am I losing it"?
Frank.

A bit like chasing shadows with your your head down on the iphone Frank.
Said "shadows" are Pokomon characters which "appear" on walls etc etc.
As a Luddite without an iphone that's my limited knowledge
Ain't technology grand !
