Plant ID please

Hi it's so wet & miserable here up North, thought I' give people something to ponder on! Been taking photos when out walking dog & 2 is from plant show & 5 a friends house plant she doesn't know what to do with. Help with ID much appreciated. It's lashing it down now but sun is supposed to come out tomorrow, I hope!

    i don't think the leaves on 2 are Salvia patens leaves but that's one of the few salvias I grow so don't recognise this one.

    I had trouble with the linaria, I always have a problem with flowers cut and lying down image

  • It's great getting answers so quickly! I saw the Salvia in a young gardeners show garden @ Harrogate but forgot to write down name and I love the colours of leaves & flowers, really want one!

    Sorry about the Linaria, tons of the stuff round here.

    Maybe Salvia guaranitica ?

  • Just google Salvia patens and don't think it's that, the leaves were really bright green.

    the leaves look quite yellow, are they or is the light?

  • I remember them being lime greenish which I suppose could be seen as on the yellow spectrum

  • It was very sunny and bright light unlike outside right now!

  • It's funny you can google a plant and think it's that one then a different image, same plant don't look like it. Just did that with Salvia guaranitica and thought yes then another pic -no!
