    box blight, showing the signs where it looks like some ones burned it with a flame,

    you can cut back the infected area with a good margin (3-4 inches) of healthy around it - burn all this material.

    box blight struggles if there is good air flow, you can take one side of the hedge and the top back to brown wood (it'll regrow) and hopefully that will help
