Need Garden Landscape Ideas

Hello everybody,
I'm searching for some landscape ideas for my garden and also need to hire somebody for this job. My garden is not so big I'll post a picture here. I live in Dallas.
If anybody knows about some good service providers please let me know about their services. I'm flexible with my budget.

Joban - this is a UK based site (connected to a UK tv programme and magazine). Almost all the contributors are in the UK.
To find recommended garden designers in Texas I suggest you join a local gardening club and seek personal recommendations.

Sweeping generalisation, my perspective is filtered through film and TV, but I'm always impressed with the maturity and attention that many US gardens get. I guess they save the best for TV.

I think the hottest it musters in the south east of the UK is 30 degrees. I'm sweltering out there when the temperature is in the mid twenties! Winter in Dallas looks very comfortable! 47 degrees C on the other hand. Blimey.
Be interested to know what are the native favourites.
