telegraph cucumbers very bitter

I grow telegraph cucumbers in the greenhouse. But this year they are very bitter flesh I don't let them get to big . I always peel them but the flesh is so bitter why?

    Have you picked off the male flowers?. Cucumbers that are pollinated are bitter. The female flowers have a small cucumber at the back. The male just have a knob. Pick them off or  grow F1 all female such as pepinex.

    Thank you . I am still learning different seeds next year. I will look for the knobs?.
