Brown edges to rhododendron leaves

Does es anyone know what is causing this browning on the edges of my rhododendron leaves?
any help much appreciated

It could be one of several reasons. Too much or too little water; too much sun; too deep planting - rhododendrons have surface roots and should only be planted to the depth they are in in their original pots or even slightly higher.
It's by the shed, perhaps roof run off? Haven't fertilised in sun, no.
